An opticians and eyewear shop in Twickenham has been destroyed by a fire.
Firefighters were called to the scene inside a shop on King Street at around 3.45pm on Sunday.
Part of a ground floor shop, thought to be The Optical Gallery, with flats above, was destroyed by the fire.
There have been no reports of any injuries.
The fire was under control by 4.07pm.
The fire is believed to have been accidental and involved hot works being carried out.
Fire crews from Twickenham, Heston and Richmond fire stations attended the scene.
A spokesperson for the London Fire Brigade said: “Four fire engines and around 25 firefighters were called to a shop fire on King Street in Twickenham.
“Part of the ground floor shop with flats above was damaged by fire.
“There were no reports of any injuries.
“The Brigade was called at 1543 and the fire was under control by 1607.
“Fire crews from Twickenham, Heston and Richmond fire stations attended the scene.
“The fire is believed to have been accidental and involved hot works being carried out.”
