Police are seeking a dog owner after a deer was fatally injured in Richmond Park yesterday evening.
A Belgian/German Shephard cross was seen to attack the fallow doe near the leg of Mutton Pond at around 7.10pm.
After an hour search, the gamekeeper located the deer in long grass, unable to move due to her injuries.
She sadly had to be put down.
The dog is described as a Belgian/German Shepherd cross, about 25kg, lean body condition, short sandy coat wearing a black harness.
The police is appealing for the owner to contact them at RichmondPark@met.police.uk.
