Harlequins FC have announced a list of safety as they prepare to welcome back full capacity crowds for the new season.
In a statement the rugby club, which plays at Twickenham Stadium, spoke of the “mindful” and “responsible” measures that will be taken as games resume amid the pandemic.
The latest guidance from the government permits the full opening of sports stadiums for supporters.
There is no current government requirement for proof of vaccination or recent negative COVID test to enter the stadium.
Harlequins FC have said there will be additional cleaning, hand sanitiser stations, and face masks will be advised but not obligatory at the venue.
“The latest guidance from the government permits the full opening of sports stadiums for supporters, and we look forward to doing so as Double English Champions – we know how much our supporters are longing to return and how much we need them to sustain the Club as a business.”
The club added that this season’s matches will return with the view of the on-going impact of COVID and the knowledge that government guidance can change quickly.
Upcoming games include:
- Saturday 4th Sep (3pm) Harlequins vs Cardiff Rugby, pre season friendly
- Sunday 5th Sep (3pm), Harlequins Women vs Loughborough Lightening, Allianz Premier 15s
- Sat 25th Sep (3pm) Harlequins vs Worcester Warriors, Gallagher Premiership
