A pair of 13-year-old twins from Twickenham who were missing for five days have been found.
Police confirmed that Poppy and Lily Myers, who were last seen on Egerton Road last Saturday, April 3 were discovered safe and well.
Appeals to find the young girls have been circulating on social media since their disappearance, with police asking parents whose children are friends with the twins for any information.
It is believed Poppy and Lily were in contact with friends as recently as yesterday morning.
On Twitter, a Richmond Police spokesperson said:
“Poppy and Lily Myers, who were reported missing from Twickenham, have been found safe and well this morning.
“We are grateful to the many people who helped to share the appeal for information about their whereabouts.”
