Richmond is landing own official Monopoly game and the public has the power to choose which landmarks make it onto the board.
The new version of the property board game will see the typical addresses, landmarks and playing cards from the original Monopoly game replaced by leading destinations across the borough.
Kew Palace, Ham House and Garden, Richmond Bridge and Twickenham Stadium are predicted to be popular choices.
London-based games company Winning Moves is producing the game under licensing from Hasbro.
Custom games executive, George Shrimpton, said: “Richmond-upon-Thames is blessed with great cherished and beloved landmarks.
“We are sure we will be spoilt for choice putting this new edition together.”
Over the last 20 years Winning Moves has produced official versions of Monopoly featuring Dubai, Dublin, Sydney and Southampton.
The new Richmond-upon-Thames Monopoly edition will hit the shops in October 2021.
To vote on the 30 landmarks and various cards that will feature in the board game you can email: richmond@winningmoves.co.uk or visit the official Facebook page.
You can also post submissions to: The MONOPOLY: Richmond-upon-Thames Edition game, Winning Moves, 7 Praed Street, London W2 1NJ.
Polling closes at 23.59pm on March 24, 2021.
