Angry commuters forced off a train at Hampton Wick have taken to Twitter to vent their frustration this morning.
Nicola Gilbert tweeted at about 8.10am: "Why have we been chucked off the train mid journey at Hampton Wick?"
The South West Trains twitter account blamed the situation on congestion and the need to avoid further delays to the service.
@NickiWJ Hi, sorry about that. This is due to congestion and to avoid further delays to other services this morning.

A South West Trains spokesman said: "The 07.40 Shepperton to Waterloo service was cancelled at Kingston this morning.
"Passengers were advised to leave the train at Hampton Wick as the service arrives into a bay platform at Kingston and they would therefore have to change platform to catch the next onward train.
"However, we are very sorry for any inconvenience caused."
