Dynamos: Making a habit of winning
It was a double celebration for a Teddington U8s football team this month as they picked up two trophies in two weeks.
Teddington Athletic Dynamos marked their first season together by winning the Epsom and Ewell Youth Football League Treasurer’s Cup on April 25 and on May 3 the team finished top of the SCI Isle of Wight Mitre Ultimatch Cup.
After competing against teams from Bristol, Hertfordshire, Surrey and the Isle of Wight, the Dynamos beat Guildford Saints Swallows 2-0 in the final and were presented with a trophy by former England Star Matt Le Tissier, to the delight of manager Phil Charman.
