Cousins Rosie and Royce became Superspokes in 2012, and as well as weekly spots at Northcote Records and Venn Street Records in Clapham, bring their playfully eclectic style to the Teddington Arms once a month.
Counting performers as diverse as Aretha Franklin, Radiohead and Pearl Jam among their influences, Royce, an actor who once starred in Family Affairs, formed the band once Rosie had graduated from university.
Royce says the ultimate dream has got to be making music for a living.
He says: "Playing music live makes people happy, who wouldn’t want to do that?
"I’ll play the Postman Pat theme tune if you dance."
