Icy fun: Get down to Strawberry Hill House
The ice rink at Strawberry Hill House beat its £5,000 target just before its Crowdfunder time period ended.
Pledgers were able to purchase anything from a family ticket to advertising on the perimeter of the rink.
The ice rink, operated by Twickenham Alive, opened earlier this month and Bruce Lyons, Twickenham Town Business Association chairman, described it as "amazing".
He said: "We are very happy to be involved with this amazing initiative - anything that gets our young people out and having fun at this time of year is to be applauded.
"Even in December I go on rowing on the river in our double scull and realise just how wonderful our borough is."
