One of the best kept secrets in the jazz industry will showcase her talents at the Bull's Head.
Described as a fresh, modish Shirley Bassey with a dash of Tina Turner, Zeeteah Massiah has a unique sound of jazz, blues, reggae and pop, which combines to make a soulful sound.
After hitting the number one spot on the US Billboard charts in the 1990s and singing with a host of chart toppers, including Robbie Williams, Tom Jones, Phil Collins and Paul Weller, Massiah reinvented herself with a new sound.
She also teamed up with a new band featuring some of London's best jazz musicians, including Rick Laughlin (keys), Karen Straw (trumpet/flugelhorn), Johnny Griffiths (tenor sax/flute), Arnulf Lindner (double/electric bass) and Sophie Alloway (drums).
Many of Massiah's best tracks are originals from her new release Juice, which will be performed in the Bull's Head's intimate jazz room setting.
