A new wartime cavalcade show comes to Richmond Theatre this month as a commemoration of the centenary of the outbreak of the First World War.
Duggie Chapman, producer of We’ll Meet Again, has created the show as a tribute to the armed forces of yesterday, today and the future.
Comedy entertainer Steve Barclay brings his impressions of the wartime comedians to the stage and, by special request, Andy Eastwood returns to wow the crowds with his ukulele.
Singing star Lucia Matisse also comes to the stage to perform songs from Dame Vera Lynn and Gracie Fields, along with a full supporting cast of singers.
Jamie Steen will sing to remember Bing Crosby, Donald Peers and Al Bowlly, while Mervyn Francis, former singer from the Black and White Minstrel Show, will also take to the stage.
The Martyn St James Band will also take to the stage to complete the damp-eye nostalgia performance which promises to leave the audience with a warm and sentimental glow.
