With the heatwave fast upon us, what better time than to try your hand at a bit of beach volleyball in Teddington this summer?
Three courts will open at Teddington Sports Centre on Thursday and replace the old tennis and netball courts.
Richmond Council cabinet member for sport Councillor Meena Bond said: "Beach volleyball is an Olympic sport and part of the Olympic legacy so it is wonderful to bring the sport to Richmond.
"We have some of the healthiest sports-loving residents in London so it is thrilling to bring them another to master."
