A spa based at the Richmond outdoor swimming pool was opened by the borough’s mayor.

Councillor Meena Bond officially opened Aquarius Spa, based at Pools on the Park, which offers a range of treatments including facials, hot wax, tanning and micro-dermabrasion.

Owner Toshi Shah said: “We are bringing something very new to a competitive market.

“We are already offering bamboo and herbal massages together with all the other essential salon treatments.

“We want to build our reputation by word of mouth and cater for those who are looking for a touch of luxury at affordable prices.”

The team also thanked the Richmond chamber of commerce for its support in the venture.
