The Sheen Folk and Blues Festival draws closer, with four days of live music treats from more than 20 musicians.

The festival, in its sixth year, features an eclectic mix of music from traditional folk, folk-rock, and country to delta and Chicago blues.

Among the bands performing will be the John O’Leary and Alan Glen All-Star Blues Revue, the Twosixones, Jamestown and Mad Stick Dog.

Performances will take place at three venues across the borough; the Home Guard Club, Barnes, The Halfway House, Barnes, and the Pig and Whistle, East Sheen.

Former members of the Yardbirds, Nine Below Zero, Savoy Brown and John Dummer Blues Band get together for some fine blues jamming to form John O’Leary and Alan Glen’s All-Star Blues Revue.

The pair will be joined by Papa George, Tim Penn, Nick Newell, Glynn Evans, Peter Miles, Ali Maas and more during an unmissable show.

The Twosixones, a young four piece acoustic band with fine harmonies and great energy, have returned to the stage after their stellar performance at the Halfway House during Halloween last year.

Other names to look out for include Celtic and Cajun dance music extraordinaire Mad Stick Dog Collective, rocking blues band 3AM and folk-rockers Stiff Joints.
