School lessons reached new heights last week as pupils and teachers from a Richmond school swapped the classroom for a cable car.
Staff and students from Meadlands Primary took a trip on the Emirates Air Line, which offers trips for £1 to school pupils between years 1 and 11.
Charlie King, assistant headteacher, said: “It was a fantastic opportunity for the children to experience London from a whole new perspective.
“As well as the excitement of the trip on the Emirates Air Line and the fantastic view of the city skyline, the children learned about how the cable car was built and run.
“They have come back buzzing about making their own.”
