A driver who crashed into a motorcyclist was fined and given points on his licence.
Scott Hildrew failed to give way to the motorbike at the roundabout in London Road and Kingston Hill and crashed into him with his Ford Focus, causing the motorcyclist injury and damage to his bike.
The 21-year-old of Uxbridge Road, Hampton, was charged with driving a mechanically propelled vehicle on a road and in a public place without due care and attention after the crash on March 21.
He was given nine points on his driving licence and ordered to pay a fine of £110, £85 in costs and a £20 victim surcharge when he appeared at Lavender Hill Magistrates’ Court on Tuesday, October 1.
