Firefighters were called to a house fire in Hanworth on Thursday evening.
They were called at 6.45pm to attend reports of a fire in Fulmer Close.
The blaze destroyed two garden sheds and caused damage to the external facade of two homes.
People in the property sustained no injuries and escaped the building to raise the alarm.
The cause of the fire is currently under investigation.
A neighbour said: “My friend looked out of the window and said it looked like someone having a bonfire.
“Five or 10 minutes later she looked again and literally the whole garden was alight and flames were going up the wall of the house.
“I phoned 999 and they said I was the first to call, so I think the people living there must have been out.”
The incident was attended by two fire engines from Feltham, one from Heathrow and one from Kingston and the blaze was under control by 10pm.
