The contribution of Richmond's older residents is to be celebrated at the Full of Life fair at the Stoop next month.
The free event, hosted at Harlequins’ Jester Suite on October 1, will feature activities such a hand massages, computer lessons and dance workshops.
And after the success of last year’s event when more than 350 older residents turned out in force, Councillor David Marlow, cabinet member for adult services and housing, says this year's will be even better.
He says: “I am very pleased that we are able to hold this event again this year, it really has become a must attend date for the diary.
“It remains one of the biggest one off event for over 50s in the borough showcasing how much the council appreciates their contribution to the local community.”
The fair is free, including transport, and attendees will receive a complementary tea or coffee and hot lunch.
Now in its fourth year, this year’s event will run between 10am and 4pm at the Harlequins stadium.
