A Teddington sports club is celebrating the opening of new changing rooms.
NPL Sports Club (NPLSC) now has a new building with four team changing rooms, two officials’ rooms, a medical room and disabled facilities, with toilets, showers, lockers and under-floor heating.
The new complex at the Queen’s Road ground in Bushy Park will enable schools and community groups to make full use of the facilities.
The new building was funded by the Football Foundation, Sport England, London Marathon Charitable Trust and the Hampton Fuel Allotment Charity.
The building will be officially opened by Vince Cable MP on Friday, September 27, and the following day families are invited to a fun day from noon to 5pm.
The club celebrated its 100th anniversary last year and offers a range of sports including bowls, cricket, tennis, football, table tennis and also has function rooms and a pavilion bar and kitchen.
