Broker: James Constantinou
A Richmond pawnbroker will appear on a TV show which uncovers the hidden world of high-end pawnbroking.
James Constantinou, a former property developer who owns Prestige Pawnbrokers in Kew Road, will appear on Channel 4’s Posh Pawn.
The documentary will go behind the scenes to uncover the stories behind up-market pawn.
From a £1m helicopter to a £100,000 Lamborghini, the programme follows Prestige, based in Surrey.
It shows how the company pawns luxurious and costly objects in cash-strapped Britain and explores the growing number of high-end pawnbrokers focusing on expensive and exclusive objects.
Posh Pawn airs 9pm, Tuesday, September 17, on Channel 4.
