Drivers can expect delays during rush hour due to a crash in North Sheen this afternoon.
Two lanes of the A316 Lower Richmond Road were blocked at Manor Circus and there are tailbacks to Chalkers Corner.
An elderly man was taken to hospital after he fell off his mobility scooter.
The man, believed to be in his 70s, fell off the scooter in the middle of Lower Richmond Road, North Sheen, not far from the Sainsbury’s in Manor Road.
The London Ambulance Service (LAS) was called to street at 2.45pm today, September 11.
An LAS spokesman said: “We sent a single responder in a car and one ambulance crew.
“Staff treated a man reported to be in his 70s and he was taken to Kingston Hospital.
“He wasn’t taken as a priority.”
The collision has cleared but residual delays west-bound will remain.
