Letters, parcels and postcards will come through post boxes in Hampton at different times after changes to Royal Mail deliveries.
From this week postmen will be using new delivery routes in the TW12 postcode area as Royal Mail tries to create a more efficient system to deliver post.
Homes, businesses and other organisations may now receive their mail later or earlier and postmen will also be getting new equipment to carry larger items.
Royal Mail said the changes will require a period of adjustment for staff but said they will be doing everything possible to maintain a high level of service and thanked customers for their understanding.
