A bus driver who allegedly crashed into an elderly lady has denied driving without due care and attention.
Patrick Gaffey, of Maple Close, Hampton, allegedly failed to see the woman, who was crossing the road, and caused her serious injury.
The 59-year-old is alleged to have hit her with a single decker bus he was driving in Red Lion Street, Richmond, on February 5.
Mr Gaffey pleaded not guilty to one count of driving without due care and attention when he appeared at Richmond Magistrates’ Court on Tuesday, August 20.
He was bailed and is due to appear at Lavender Hill Magistrates’ Court on December 20.
