Teenagers across the borough will be waking up to find out their A-level results this morning.
Schools and colleges will be opening their doors early for students to find out if their hard work and preparation paid off.
For many pupils it will have been an anxious wait to see if they have got the grades needed to go to their chosen university and others will see the day as the last goodbye to education before heading into the world of employment.
Reporter Amy Dyduch will be out visiting schools to speak to teachers and students to find out how they did and will be bringing you results, pictures and success stories throughout the day.
Although results days are usually a time for celebration, some students may feel they have not done as they had hoped.
If you did not achieve the results you needed to get into your chosen university, fear not, as there will be plenty of university places on a variety of courses available through the Ucas clearing system.
