East Sheen businesses and residents are invited to a drop in session to discover how an Olympic legacy cycle ride will impact them this summer.
The Prudential Ride London cycling event will see thousands of professional and amateur cyclists speed through the borough on Sunday, August 4.
Bridge and road closures will be put in place across the capital including in East Sheen, Hampton Wick and Hampton Court.
The event organisers are holding an information session at Sheen Lane Centre on Wednesday, July 17, from noon to 3pm.
Councillor Pamela Fleming, Richmond’s cabinet member for community, business and culture, said: “Business should also be prepared to see hundreds of spectators watching both events and use this opportunity to showcase products and services.
“The weekend will be a fun opportunity to get back into the Olympic spirit and to cheer on the cyclists and even take part in the Freecycle.”
