Some newlyweds fly to the Seychelles for their honeymoon, but one couple will tread a far more exciting, and gruelling route.
St Margarets couple Richard Weiss, 30, and Sarah Curtis, 31, who are tying the knot in July, will drive 10,000 miles across the world for charity.
Starting at Dover Castle, Kent, the couple hope to arrive in the capital of Mongolia, Ulaanbaatar, five weeks later.
However, the couple’s vehicle will not be heavy-duty, despite having to embark on such a long journey.
The rules of the rally state that the car used must have an engine smaller than 1.2l and be less than 10-years-old.
Once in Mongolia, the car is given a revamp, auctioned off and then given to a family in need.
But the charity does not end there; the money raised from the car auction then goes toward providing books and computer access for Mongolian children.
If you would like to have your business logo on the couple’s car, or could donate equipment, email Mr Weiss on weiss_dick@hotmail.com.

Miss Curtis has set up a Just Giving page to also raise money for Cool Earth, a charity that protects the world’s rainforests. Visit justgiving.com/sarah-curtis7 to make a donation.
