Olympic champion Mo Farah has received a CBE from Prince Charles during a service at Buckingham Palace today, June 28.
The 5,000m and 10,000m gold medallist became one of Team GB's biggest stars at the London Olympics last year.
The 30-year-old Somali born athlete has a gold post box painted in his honour in Broad Street, Teddington and another in Isleworth.
He was granted freedom of Richmond Borough after his achievements at the Games.
Farah trained at St Mary’s University’s endurance performance centre between 2001 and 2010 and is a familiar face in the Bushy Park parkrun.
