Crowds gathered on Twickenham Riverside last weekend to watch teams battle it out in the annual dragon boat races.
The St Margarets Tigers, made up of Orleans Infants School parents, were crowned the winners and were presented the trophy by Councillor David Marlow.
The races were part of Twickenham Alive Riverside Festival, sponsored by the RFU, and this year there were a record number of dragon boat teams.
Twickenham Alive director Berkley Driscoll said: “It was a spectacular day. We had 10 full teams which is more than double what we had last year.
“Also we had full-sized dragon boats rather than ones we have had in the past.
“What was very impressive was how many schools took part.
“It seems to draw people in – even though the races are quite short, it does seem to catch people’s imaginations.”
