The Army Cadet Force will soon be opening a new unit based at the Royal Military School of Music at Kneller Hall.
There will be open evenings at 7.30pm on June 26 and July 1 at Kneller Hall to hear about the Army Cadets’ plans.
Lieutenant George Iddiols, who has been appointed to launch and lead the new unit, said: “This is just a tremendous opportunity for local young people to get involved and if music interests them, a chance to develop their skills and be part of a great new cadet band.”
The unit will be known as 199 Kneller Hall Detachment ACF and will parade for the first time on July 8 at 7.30 pm.
