Police comments about an event on Twickenham Riverside have been removed from Richmond Council’s website.
Officers made statements in documents submitted as part of a police objection to a Temporary Event Notice for an event on June 23.
The licensing committee meeting on June 19, was held after an event held by the same organisers on June 8.
These comments have now been removed from the website after the organisers said they were “categorically not true”.
The TEN was unanimously granted by the licensing committee.
A Richmond Council spokeswoman said: “Richmond Council has apologised to the organisers of the event for the way in which it handled the accusations of others about the events management.”
