Comic songs will be brought to life in a revue-style 1950s show.
Transport of Delight stages Michael Flanders and Donald Swann’s most famous songs in their original form as group numbers, duets and solos.
The musical celebrates the work of the two legends of the British theatre who created an unforgettable collection of comic songs.
Their surreal sense of humour brought us a depressed pillar box, a love-sick armadillo, a whale with the flu and the well known Hippopotamus Song.
All proceeds from the show will go to the Down’s Syndrome Association.
Transport of Delight at the Normansfield Theatre, Langdon Park, Teddington.
At 3pm, Saturday, June 15. Tickets £12, £10 concessions.
