Twickenham MP Vince Cable opened a new Halfords that will bring new jobs and apprenticeships to Teddington.
The centre, in Teddington Business Park in Enterprise Way, will offer MOTs, car servicing, tyre checks and repairs, and will create six new jobs.
The Secretary of State for business, innovation and skills, Dr Cable, opened the centre on Friday, June 7.
He said: “I was delighted to open the new Halfords Autocentre.
“It’s great to see a successful business expanding, providing jobs for skilled technicians and an apprentice - exactly the sort of growth we need to make our economy stronger.
“I spent some time with all the technicians and they’re an enthusiastic and friendly bunch, eager to do a good job for the people of Teddington. I wish them luck with their new business.”
