Pony club members have been gearing up for Teddington station’s 150th anniversary celebrations.
The group of riding enthusiasts from Park Lane Stables wanted to recreate a photograph of the station taken in the 1880s ahead of its major milestone.
Alan Hopgood, made an MBE for his work at Teddington station in 2010, joined in the photo shoot outside the station, which was granted grade II listed status last year.
The riders got horse Tamise to pull the carriage, from Surrey Hill Carriages, before they were given a lesson on carriage driving.
Twickenham MP Vince Cable will be unveiling a commemorative plaque at the station to mark its 150th anniversary on Sunday, June 30.
Celebrations on the day will run from 11am to 5pm and will include a model steam railway at the St John Ambulance Hall.
