School children at East Sheen Primary School donned iconic fancy dress outfits from the past decade when the school celebrated its 100th anniversary last week.
The school had workshops during the week and took part in a parade around the school on Thursday, May 23, which parents came to watch.
Headteacher Helen Colbert said: “We kicked it off with a family picnic which a lot of came to and we had old photos and they brought old memorabilia – one mum brought her old school cap.
“Each year group chose a decade to study and had to dress up in costumes that represented that decade for the parade. I was the 1970s - I was a bit of an Abba freak.
“The rain stayed off just in time. It has been really fun and the kids have totally embraced the whole thing.
“Some of them have been trying to do Rubix Cubes and then realised the easiest thing is just to take the stickers off.”
