Richmond Council held its annual Dementia Awareness Day on Monday at the Woodville Centre in Ham.
People with dementia and their carers were invited to talk to care agencies such as the Alzheimer’s Society.
The council’s deputy leader Geoffrey Samuel said: “Dementia is a growing problem in our society and I am pleased that the council’s centre of excellence at Woodville is playing a vital role in raising public awareness for people with the condition.”
