More than 200 people attended the Richmond Volunteering Fair held in Twickenham this month.

Anyone interested in getting involved in volunteering came along to the fair to find out more about volunteering with local good causes.

The event was organised by Volunteering Richmond, which offered information on a range of roles from 35 local charities and organisations.

Lucy Gannon, Volunteering Richmond manager, said: “We are delighted that so many people came to meet local organisations and find out how they can make a real difference by volunteering in their community.

“Volunteering Richmond aims to inspire and support volunteering and it was wonderful to talk to so many people who are passionate about volunteering and to share their stories and experiences.”
