Hundreds of children tucked into picnics and enjoyed games in the sunshine to celebrate the federation of their schools.
Hampton Infant and Nursery School and Hampton Junior School held a joint picnic to mark the formation of the Hampton Primary Partnership on Friday, May 3.
More than 650 pupils tucked into 1,500 scones made by a parent and strawberries supplied by Waitrose.
Headteachers Helen Lockey and Damian Burke said they hoped it would be the first of many whole school events.
A joint choir also sang at the picnic, year 6 pupils entertained their peers with hip hop dance routines and every child was presented with a special memento to mark the occasion.
