A Twickenham pupil has been named the Chelsea FC Asian U10 Football Star of the year.
Radnor House student and huge Chelsea fan Marco Randhawa was “over the moon” when he was presented with his award and Chelsea Asian Star shirt.
The Chelsea FC Asian U10 Football Star is an annual event where hundreds of boys of Asian descent come to show off their talent in front of Chelsea coaches, undertaking various tests and matches.
Marco said: “It was a really fun day and I’m really happy I won. We were taught how to play in different positions and now I want to play centre back. I am really excited about the coming season and all the training.”
Subject leader of Sport and PE Tom Doran said: “The school is incredibly proud of this achievement and Marco and his family are also delighted.”
