Three talented media production students from Richmond College have snatched up stellar prizes at an inaugural Twickenham Film Festival.
Isaac Whittingham, Dias Mussirov and Ben Elagar successfully submitted short films to the Alive Film Festival which attracted entries from as far as Japan, Brazil, the US and India.
The trio’s submissions were chosen along with 16 others and screened at an awards ceremony in the Live Room at Twickenham stadium on April 30.
Isaac’s film, Sanctuary, received the Borough Young Film Maker award; Dias’s film I’ve got you received the Borough Drama award and Ben’s film Cat-astrophe earned him a special mention.
The public had a second chance to see the films at a special screening at the college’s theatre on May 1.
