A man was left trapped in his car after a 391 bus crashed into it in Sanycombe Road shortly before 8am today.
The 52-year-old man was taken to St Mary’s Hospital as a priority after being rescued by a fire rescue unit from Heston.
A spokesman for the London Fire Brigade said: “A bus went into the side of a car and somebody was trapped in the car.”
An engine from Richmond and one from Chiswick also attended the crash this morning, along with police and the London Ambulance Service.
Two other people were treated at the scene for minor injuries before they were taken to West Middlesex Hospital.
Buses were diverted for about an hour, but normal service resumed at 9.30am.
Mike Weston, operations director for London Buses, said: "Emergency services attended the scene.
"There will be a full investigation into this incident.”
