Schoolchildren made a splash at a gala held to mark 75 years of the Richmond Schools Swimming Association.
More than 650 pupils from 45 schools dived in for the swimming championships, held at Pools on the Park, in Old Deer Park, Richmond.
The 75th anniversary of the swimming championships was marked by all the children receiving commemorative medals and certificates at the event on Wednesday, March 20.
Chairman Bill Jerman said: “We are fortunate to have such a dedicated group of volunteers, officials and the Richmond sports development team who make the games possible.
“It is brilliant to see so many children enjoying competitive swimming, cheered on by their parents.
“The Richmond primary schools championships are now one of the biggest events of its type in the country - we look forward to the next 75 years.”
