Children in hospital enjoyed a special Easter delivery over the bank holiday weekend.
Ward rounds at West Middlesex Hospital were taken over by an Easter bunny who delivered chocolate eggs and treats that were donated by Virgin Media and Japan Airlines.
The goodies were loaded up on a Thunderbird van along with activity books and colouring pens for the children.
Paul Hughes area operations manager from Virgin Media said: “Virgin Media is always keen to get involved with our local community and as West Mid is just around the corner from our offices we thought it would be a great idea to bring along some Easter cheer for the children in the hospital.
“It was great to see so many happy faces on the children’s ward, and we hope it made their day.
“We all loved the event and found it very inspiring and also humbling at the same time.
“We are looking to support West Mid more now that we have got to know the staff there and hope to be back soon.”
Cabin crew from Japan Airlines, which has been making Easter deliveries at the hospital since the 1990s, also visited children on the starlight, sunshine and emergency paediatric wards.
