Whitton Library re-opened today (April 3) after three months of “essential repairs”.
The refurbishment included work on the roof, replacement of the ceiling, new lighting and a fully accessible entrance.
New shelving was put in, as well as displays units, a study area, and an activities space.
The children’s area has been given a makeover, including a new story wall with a woodland theme.
The library will be open from 9.30am to 6pm Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, and Friday, from 10am to 7pm on Wednesday, from 9.30am to 4pm on Saturday and closed on Sunday.
