'Tis the season to be jolly in Twickenham, and what better way to spend it than a sing-along at Patchworks.
Whether you want to kick back, relax and enjoy others singing or join in yourself, all are welcome to come and enjoy the event.
Gerry Evans, a Twickfolk organiser, says: "Twickfolk singarounds are very informal, there’s no booked guests or sound equipment.
"We usually sit in a circle and take it in turns to entertain one another.
"You can pass if you prefer, or request someone else to sing a particular song instead."
Sue Graves, one of the resident singers at Twickfolk, says: "All the music at TwickFolk is live and our singarounds give everyone a chance to sing, play an instrument, recite a poem or tell a story."
The date in December will end with a communal rendition of Ralph McTell's Streets of London, which will be filmed for Twickfolk's Youtube channel.
- Twickfolk singarounds; Patchworks, the Patch, London Road, Twickenham; December 21 and January 4, 8pm; tickets £3 on the door; visit twickfolk.co.uk for more information.
